Intermediate Pistol Course

Duration: 4 Hours

Prerequisites: NRA Basic Pistol Course, CCW License, or Equivalent training

Equipment Needed:

• Pistol

• Holster (IWB or OWB) - no cross draw, shoulder, or middle-of-back holsters

• Two or more magazines

• Mag Holder(s)

• 400 rounds (We can sell you the required ammo, if you'd like)

• Apparel appropriate for the weather (rain or shine)

• Lunch and hydration

• Hearing and eye protection

• Billed hat

Course Description:

This course will show you how to effectively use your handgun for real-world critical incidents. This includes various levels of training on the following topics:

• Developing the Proper Mindset

• Fundamentals Review with One and Two Handed Grips

• Sight Alignment/Picture, etc.

• Ready Positions

• Holster skills

• Reloading

• Clearing Malfunctions

• Point Shooting vs. Sighted Fire

• Introduction to Movement in Conflict
